Justice Delivered: Jury Awards $7 Million to Our Client
Warehouse collision led to five surgeries and permanent physical restrictions
BESSEMER, AL, October 30, 2026 -- A jury in the Bessemer Division of the Jefferson County Circuit Court returned a $7 million verdict on Oct. 8 against Dollar General for a worker permanently injured in a collision with industrial equipment at the company's distribution center.

The worker was dust mopping the approximately one million square foot Dollar General distribution center when a Dollar General employee reversed an electric pallet jack rolltainer carrier and struck her twice from behind. The collision severed her right Achilles tendon and injured the left heel and shoulder.
