Under the plan, piers require a Private Recreation Facility Permit, and separate applications cover modifying, replacing, or repairing an existing private recreation facility.
Other shoreline work, including shoreline stabilization, excavation, dredging, and fill, requires an Activity Permit, as do vegetation removal and planting along the shoreline.
