ADAP Advocacy Airs Digital Commercial Highlighting the Promise Behind the 340B Drug Pricing Program and Why Patients Favor Reform
Commercial: "The Glue That Should Hold Our Healthcare System Together"

WASHINGTON, DC, October 01, 2026 -- ADAP Advocacy today, as part of its 340B Project, released a new digital commercial about the 340B Drug Pricing Program. The commercial reinforces the central message of the policy paper the organization published earlier this year under the same name, "340B PROGRAM: The Glue That Should Hold Our Healthcare System Together."
Few areas in the healthcare ecosystem aren't, in one way or another, impacted by the 340B Program—including as the backbone for certain services and healthcare providers nationwide, such as HIV. For that reason, a healthcare program of this size, magnitude, and importance cannot be entrusted to good faith alone; rather, improved accountability and transparency guardrails are needed to ensure its success and ultimately its intended beneficiaries: patients.
Brandon M. Macsata, CEO of ADAP Advocacy, summarized: "The debate surrounding whether to reform the 340B Program has largely been settled, thanks to the growing chorus recognizing the program isn't living up to the legislative intent. For patients, it is failing to deliver on its promise of expanding affordable healthcare, as shown by the growing medical debt crisis in this country, much of it owed to hospitals. Our new digital commercial moves the debate forward as Congress debates 340B legislation."
The commercial will air across numerous digital and social platforms. The commercial continues ADAP Advocacy's '340B Too Big To Fail' national advocacy campaign, highlighting hospitals' declining charity, rising healthcare executive compensation, and exploding patient medical debt, among other issues.
