FUNNY AF! Brings Nate Jackson and an All-Star Comedy Lineup to Pier Six Pavilion for Baltimore's Official Morgan State Homecoming Comedy Show
DChase — creator of The Baltimore Met Gala, AfroPreak and Jazzy Summer Nights — hosts a night of laughs and community ahead of MSU Homecoming Weekend, featuring Kelly Kellz, Kleon the Comedian, Eddie Bryant and Larry Lancaster, with Joe Clair.
BALTIMORE, MD, September 16, 2026 -- DChase will host FUNNY AF!, a comedy show headlined by Netflix comedian Nate Jackson, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The show is billed as the official Morgan State University Homecoming Comedy Show and falls during MSU Homecoming Weekend. It's built as a night to laugh, celebrate, and recognize the people who show up for Baltimore every day.
Jackson's debut Netflix special, "Nate Jackson: Super Funny," premiered in 2025, and audiences also know him from "Wild 'N Out," "Young Rock" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." He headlines a lineup that includes Kelly Kellz, Kleon the Comedian, Eddie Bryant and Larry Lancaster, with comedian and radio personality Joe Clair hosting. 856Chris + Friends will host a pre-party ahead of the show.
"Baltimore shows up for everybody else all year long, so we wanted to give the city a night that's just for laughing and being together," said Kyra Harris, founder of Be Social Society. "Bringing this show to Pier Six during Homecoming Weekend felt like the right way to celebrate the community and the culture at the same time."
FUNNY AF! is presented by DChase in partnership with Be Social Society, 856Chris Events, Omar The Creative, T&Z Productions, D-Toy, DC, Flom and The Flywire. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. The event is open to all ages.
Tickets are available now at PierSixBaltimore.com and through AXS. Organizers expect the show to sell out and encourage fans to purchase early.

About Nate Jackson
Nate Jackson is a stand-up comedian and actor. His debut Netflix special, "Nate Jackson: Super Funny," premiered in 2025. He has a recurring role on MTV's "Wild 'N Out," where he also works as a creative consultant, and has appeared on "Young Rock" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." He's set to appear in the upcoming Peacock series "The Paper," a spinoff of "The Office." In 2021, Jackson opened Super Funny Comedy Club, one of only a handful of Black-owned comedy clubs in the country.

DChase (Derrick Chase) is a Baltimore-based event producer and culture creator. He executive-produces the Baltimore Met Gala alongside LaRian Finney, a role he's held since the event's debut at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Chase works through The Finn Group, the Baltimore firm behind signature events including AfroPreak and Jazzy Summer Nights, which in 2026 also stepped into operational leadership of Pier Six Pavilion alongside Knitting Factory Entertainment.
