Blue Faery Offers Free Spanish-Language Liver Health Workshops for Hispanic Heritage Month Through Their Love Your Liver Program
Two free online workshops presented in Spanish will connect Hispanic and Latino communities with expert guidance on liver health, disease prevention, and liver cancer risk.
LOS ANGELES, CA, September 15, 2026 -- Blue Faery: The Adrienne Wilson Liver Cancer Association will spotlight its Love Your Liver program this Hispanic Heritage Month with two free online workshops presented entirely in Spanish.
The first workshop will feature Dr. Edward Mena, Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, on Friday, October 9, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. ET. The second will feature Dr. Humberto Gonzalez, Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist, on Wednesday, October 14, from 4:00–5:00 p.m. ET.
Both physicians will provide practical education on liver health, liver disease, liver cancer risk, prevention, and early detection. Each session will also include a live Q&A, giving patients, caregivers, and community members the opportunity to ask questions directly.
Hispanic Americans face a disproportionately high burden of liver disease and liver cancer. Language barriers can also make trusted health information harder to access. Blue Faery's Love Your Liver program helps close that gap by providing culturally relevant liver health education in Spanish and connecting participants directly with medical experts.
