This asset acquisition further expands the company's position in the AWS pipe market
HOUSTON, TX, April 28, 2026 -- North Shore Steel is acquiring the assets of Greens Bayou Pipe Mill, bringing their rolled and welded pipe capabilities under the North Shore Steel name and further expanding the company's position in the AWS pipe market.
Greens Bayou Pipe Mill's Houston-area operations have long served customers requiring high-quality rolled and welded pipe. This asset acquisition will strengthen North Shore Steel's ability to support demand for AWS pipe, complementing its existing plate rolling, forming, cutting, cylinder welding, and NDE services.
