Q: What does being a Consumer Choice Award Winner mean to you? How did winning the Consumer Choice Award impact your business?
A: Being a Consumer Choice Award Winner for three years has meant a lot to ABC. As a local and family owned company in HRM, we are proud to serve the community and be recognized for our hard work.
Q: What are the "core values" of your organization?
A: Our core values as a company are to provide our clients excellent customer service and competitive rates.
Q: Name a person who has had a tremendous impact on you? How did this person impact your life?
A: My father and President of ABC Insurance Tom Anderson has had a great impact one me both professionally and personally. Growing up, I would go with my dad to meet clients and seeing how he treated people made me extremely proud. I look to him as a positive role model on how to give people individualized and exceptional service and also for insurance advice!
Q: What is the next priority for your business?
A: Our priority is to provide our clients expert advise that is tailored to each client individual needs.
Q: What makes your business unique in the market?
A: What makes our business unique is that we have been in business for over 50 years. We have generations of brokers who pass down skills to the next generation.
Q: Does your company use social media? If so, how had it changed your business/organization?
A: We use Facebook as our main source of social media. We are able to engage with the public through contests and give back.
Q: What makes you/your company successful?
A: Communication is key for any business and I think we are good at communicating new products and information to our clients.

Q: Are you or your company involved in your community (charity, fundraising, etc.)?
A: We are heavily involved in supporting local sports teams and charities as we have been since our inception in 1964.

Where is your dream vacation destination/place?...My dream vacation would be to go to Scotland, my husbands father grew up in Dundee so I am looking forward to making this dream a reality in the near future!
What was the best compliment you've received?...The best compliment I receive is when a client expresses how thankful they are with the service they received from me and how I have made insurance easier for them to understand.

What gets you out of bed every day?...My two Labrador Retrievers :)
