WebCE® Now Offers Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) Continuing Education Courses
WebCE® is a NASAA® -approved CE provider and offers continuing education (CE) courses for Investment Adviser Representatives, along with a complete life cycle of securities products.
DALLAS, TX, December 01, 2021 -- WebCE®, an industry leader in online professional education for the financial services industry, is now approved to offer continuing education courses for investment adviser representatives (IARs).
On November 30, 2020, the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA®) voted to adopt a model rule which implemented continuing education programs for IARs. Unlike other financial service professions, IARs had previously not been subject to a continuing education requirement to maintain their registrations with state regulators.

"We are excited for the opportunity to be one of the first providers to offer continuing education for investment adviser representatives."
Under NASAA's new model rule, IARs are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education credit every year. These courses must include six courses covering ethics and professional responsibility and six courses covering IAR products and practices.
