Birdneck Animal Hospital is responding to an increasing need for high-quality, compassionate veterinary care for pets and clients in the Hampton Roads / Tidewater area by expanding their facility, supporting their community and improving the services they offer for dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, reptiles, and ferrets. Dr. Johnson and his team have been long time, loyal supporters of the local philanthropic group "The Noblemen", which raises funds to improve the lives of physically or financially challenged local children. Spearheaded by Dr. Johnson, Noblepets is a branch of the Noblemen Organization. Dr. Johnson and the Noblemen have created a wonderful platform to give more individuals an opportunity to give back to the community, while at the same time publicly acknowledging their pets, and telling the world why their pet is noble. Each month, the staff at Birdneck Animal Hospital name one wonderful patient Pet Of The Month and share their photo and heart warming story with others on Birdneckanimalhospital.com as well on The Noblemen website. Birdneck Animal Hospital makes a donation in the name of each pet to Noblepets. Monies raised through Noblepets is earmarked to help provide local children and veterans who are disabled with specially trained aid dogs to make the children's and vet's lives less difficult, or to help local children in some other manner. In support of their commitment to provide the finest in veterinary pet care and in response to growing need, Birdneck Animal Hospital has expanded their boarding facility, created a new and larger surgery suite, and added an additional office for a second veterinarian. They're proud to offer pet examinations, vaccinations, de-worming, and laser surgery.
