Formaspace Appoints Frank Bucher as Chief Operating Officer
Custom furniture manufacturer Formaspace announces key executive promotion to support record growth.
AUSTIN, TX, August 12, 2020 -- Custom furniture manufacturer Formaspace has announced Frank Bucher will become its new Chief Operating Officer.
Bucher's promotion from Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing to COO will broaden his responsibilities from leading sales and marketing to also encompass the company's industrial design & engineering (ID&E), production, and client service teams. He will report directly to CEO Jeff Turk.

His appointment follows a significant company re-branding from Formaspace Office to Formaspace Contract, which also marked expansion into the hospitality and outdoor furniture sectors.
During his three years at Formaspace, Bucher established a nationwide manufacturer's representative and dealer network which significantly expanded the company's presence in the contract office furniture market. These efforts culminated with Formaspace enjoying its best-ever revenue growth in the first half of 2020 as the company pivoted rapidly and repeatedly to meet evolving COVID-19 related needs, including making workbenches supporting ventilator production, laboratory furniture supporting coronavirus research labs, and partitions and other products to keep Americans safe as they return to work in offices, schools, and retail facilities.

Bucher has 25 years' experience, having served in progressive leadership roles at both Teknion and HNI, as well as sales management, product development, and dealer relations at BKM Total Office of Texas and Baker Manufacturing.
