Graduate of the Parent Coaching Institute Authors Children's Book, Gentry and June
The Parent Coaching Institute (PCI) proudly announces that PCI Certified Parent Coach® Tierney Boggs has launched her first book, a children's book—with a creative twist for parents.
BELLINGHAM, WA, August 02, 2019 -- The Parent Coaching Institute is proud to announce that a graduate of the institute, PCI Certified Parent Coach® Tierney Boggs has published her first book with West Bow Press. Tierney who owns Be Still Parent Coaching explains that she wrote Gentry and June, "to support parents who are in the challenging early years with their kiddos. I am in the midst of this beautiful but exhausting season, and I recognize the need for support in the little, every day moments—something as simple as reading a book to our little ones."
When asked how she felt about one of the PCI graduates writing a children's book, PCI Founder and CEO, Gloria DeGaetano responded, "Tierney, who is also one of our instructors at the institute, is highly creative and deeply dedicated to children and parents. She combines those signature qualities in this sweet story. Gentry and June, the children in the story, find that adopting a puppy brings more life changes than they could have anticipated. Through their journey of discovery, they find their puppy can make their adventure so much better than it ever was before."
Tierney's hope is that children and parents have the opportunity to bond while reading it. And that both enjoy it since the story holds the unique power to speak to both the parent and child. This type of co-constructive process is highly valued at the Parent Coaching Institute.
