What does being a consumer choice award winner mean to you? How did winning the Consumer Choice Award impact your business?
It's an honour and a blessing. We are passionate about enhancing smiles and offering exceptional value at an affordable price. The recognition is validation that we are headed in the right direction and we're grateful that our patients love us as much as we love them!
What makes your business unique in the market?
We give. We love to give. We realize how fortunate we are to have the opportunity to change lives and make a positive impact in our community of Calgary. So, we take advantage of that as much as possible. We offer free consultations, where patients get to experience a stunning orthodontic clinic, and get expert advice from our highly educated orthodontists in Calgary. Our prices are among the absolute lowest and, on top of this, we offer flexible payment options, with plans starting from as little as $129/month. I don't know if that makes us different - I'm sure all orthodontists care about their patients. I can say that it is our goal to help as many people as we possibly can.
What is one major decision you make on a daily basis?
One major decision we make on a daily basis is the decision of what to focus on. Just like any
business we have our successes and triumphs, but also our struggles and our challenges. So it's important to learn from our mistakes and celebrate our accomplishments. By asking ourselves certain questions like: How can we better serve people? How can we serve more people? Therefore, by asking ourselves empowering questions such as these, it helps us stay focused on the bigger picture of how can we help anyone achieve a beautiful smile at an affordable price.
What is the next priority for your business?
Providing affordable access to orthodontic care for anyone who wants it. We hear from a lot of patients that orthodontics in Calgary is really expensive and that they just can't afford to do it for themselves or for numerous children. That's why we are working hard to offer flexible payment options available to every single Calgarian with no credit cheques or pre-approvals. Our plans start from as little as $129/month, so finances don't make decisions – people do.
Where do the great ideas come from in your organization? (Team decisions, management decision etc.)
Everywhere! We get inspiration from our amazing team on how we can better operate and serve our patients. We listen to what our patients want. Our fellow dental colleagues have also provided some valuable insights. The internet is a great tool for learning and going to seminars have been a crucial factor in helping us grow. We believe that it is important to keep an open mind. Ideas are the spark that keeps our fire burning so we're pretty relentless and resourceful when it comes to seeking new, valuable ideas and growth opportunities.
