Taoti Creative Signs Deal to Double the Size of its DC Headquarters
The DC based full-service, creative technology agency is expanding to accommodate several years of rapid growth.
WASHINGTON, DC, June 14, 2019 -- Taoti Creative, a leading, full-service, creative technology agency based in Washington, DC announced plans to expand their existing offices into adjacent lots, doubling their size by mid 2020. When joined with their current headquarters on the Barracks Row area of Capitol Hill, the combined-building expansion will double the size of their headquarters to accommodate several years of rapid growth. Construction is expected to begin in July of 2019.
The new building will create multiple retail storefronts on the ground level while providing Taoti with an additional 5500 square feet of office space on the upper levels. The new space will provide not just additional work stations for Taoti's growing team, but the added space will allow Taoti to realize it's plans of providing publicly available resources to the community, such as access to video production studio space, its Open Device Lab (a place where users can test websites for accessibility on multiple screen sizes and mobile devices) as well as a newly planed Maker Space (where the public can book time to work with 3D printers, metalworking equipment, electronics equipment, laser cutters, etc.)
Taoti's founder and CEO, Brent Lightner said, "We love our current space. Our historic office building has been a great place to grow, and Barracks Row has been a great home for our company for the past four years. But we're bursting at the seams and need to expand. There's just not much around this immediate area to accommodate our 50+ employees, so when we found out the empty parking lot next door was available, we jumped at the chance to sign on. It's a great opportunity for us to grow without having to leave our community."
