Zhensen Huang Selected as 2019 Small Business Person of the Year for Maryland by U.S. Small Business Administration

ROCKVILLE, MD, April 11, 2019 -- Ahead of National Small Business Week, the U.S. Small Business Administration has announced this year's Small Business Persons of the Year winners from the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam. Zhensen Huang, CEO of Precise Software Solutions, Inc., has been selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the 2019 Small Business Person of the Year for Maryland.
In her letter to Huang, SBA administrator Linda McMahon wrote, "Your hard work, innovative ideas, and dedication to your employees and community have helped you build an outstanding business that has strengthened your state's economy. The SBA is pleased to celebrate your achievements and recognize your personal role in driving our nation's economic growth."
Huang's initial response to the news revealed his inspired leadership style – redirecting the honor to his team. As he wrote in a company-wide email, "Although the letter was addressed to me, the "you" in the letter is not me. It's you all – the Precise team. It is your hard work, your innovative ideas, and your dedication to delivering exceptional service to our customers that is being recognized."
When asked to comment about being selected as the 2019 Maryland State Small Business Person of the Year, Huang responded, "I am honored and humbled by this award. And I am profoundly grateful to my team for elevating Precise to such a high standard of performance."
The SBA person of the year award is one of many Huang and the Precise team have received in recent years. They include numerous customer awards, Washington Technology's Fast 50, Washington Business Journal 's 75 Fastest Growing Privately Owned Companies, and ranking at #938 on Inc. 5000's Fastest Growing private companies in America.
